O My Bag Brandstore

We were asked by sustainable leather bag brand O My Bag to design their first brand store… where visitors are instantly immersed by their intriguing brand story and vision, as well as welcomed by a world of leather and the warmth of this beautiful material.

Our design team came up with a design that resonates the brand’s story through each m2 of the store space. From the first step inside to the back of the shop a fusion of two worlds has been made sensible; the world of fashion and the world of O My Bag’s craftmanship, which is, besides their Indian heritage, driven by their focus on sustainability, treating people fairly and improving the environment.

Therefore, Tchai took O My Bag’s brand identity into a visual language of shapes and contours and incorporated them in all the details and materials. E.g.: Various elements were finished with layered wood… a recognizable, fixed style feature that expresses the striped effect that is incorporated in each bag of the collection. The unprocessed and pure wood also connotates transparency in the brand’s journey, mission and vision.

This store concept is designed in such a way that everything can be used flexibly; the retail space can be used as photo studio, or for brand events and as an office space as well.

Besides designing a store concept that elevates the pure and natural outlook of leather bags and accessories and their sustainable story, we loved working with the brand’s roots and to translate that throughout the whole brand space.
